It is the lest of the 3 but yes, it has been cleaned up digitally and will have less grain/noise than one would expect from film stock of this era.
I'm not sure butchered is the right word though given the last release was a low quality DVD transfer of the film. Even with these adjustments it is a revelation for home viewing the previous streams of this were entirely unwatchable.

I just purchased it and it immediately became available in my Vudu/Fandango Library.
You can also always check by going to MoviesAnywhere.com. If the movie comes up in a search there it's MA compatible.

Is this movie also butchered like other Cameron 4K remasters like Aliens and True Lies? Excessive DNR, AI reconstruction artifacts, etc?

Think I jumped the gun on it. One of my Fave movies but really requires the Special Edition / Extended Edition version to make sense. This show 2hrs and 20mins which is the Theatrical release as the Special edition is 2hrs 51mins. Disappointing, not sure why they would remaster the Theatrical version into 4k.
