I especially appreciate that WBH is a university teaching hospital. In my opinion interacting with students and trainees optimizes my healthcare. Simon Dixon is an excellent clinician.

The only negative in my visit was my attempt to get the blood tests that my Dr. ordered. I went to your facility to have the drug work done and the wait was way too long. I left and went to another facility and was taken right in. I noticed several others who eventually left after a long wait.

My provider, Dr Dixon was (as always) punctual, proficient and professional.

I ask for refills my prescription and they refill aspirin 81 which I told the receptionist that I have enough and anyway aspirin is not prescription drug .

Visit with the doctor and his staff was outstanding. It met the highest standards you could expect from a medical office visit. I then went to the lab to have my blood drawn. This experience did not meet expectations. The wait was long. I was then advise I was going to be the next taken and that was disregarded. When I was taken for the blood draw the person doing the blood draw acted in different throughout the process.

Dr Dixon is a physician who truly cares about his patients. He remembers everything about your condition. Always up to date about your medical conditions on every visit. Seems he knows your prognosis before he enters the room. Wonderful doctor.

The east parking deck stair well is a disgrace to the hospital name. Maintenance is needed, there is rust and the doors are missing parts. Not what is expected at such a facility as Beaumont Royal Oak.
